My Place Hotel-Tucson South, AZ

Great updated hotel. Room was very clean. Bed and pillows were very comfy which is a huge plus for me! There is a mini kitchen with a normal sized fridge/freezer as well. We got in super later after a concert and the person working at the front desk was very nice. Definitely will be staying here again!

LOVED this hotel! Comfortable bed, nice leather reclining chair, excellent work desk, mini kitchen area with microwave and a full-size refrigerator. Great location. New hotel with modern furnishings. Hotel is situated within a shopping area with grocery stores and just about every restaurant you could want. Some you could even walk to from the hotel. I will definitely stay here again.

Hotel was right near a bunch of good food and a few stores. Perfect walking distance! The room was huge, one of the bigger hotel rooms I have seen. It had a microwave, burner, full size fridge, and even a toaster in our room. I would stay here again! The staff was very kind as well!

I'm in your hotel right now. The bed is amazing, and I want to buy this comforter for my own home. We've spent a week driving around staying in hotels, and My Place is awesome! Thank you for such a wonderful stay.

This hotel is clean - good for my standards. Bathrooms were well finished and sanitized. We spent 2 weeks there due to work. EXCEPT the laundry room - ALL the machines were deeply dirty (sand, pet fur, scum, etc). The dryers filter, I get sick only thinking about it. I humbly suggest to management to pay some attention to this - have a deep cleaning process of this area at least once a week! Facility smelled fine throughout. Internet would reset every night, so we had to reconnect our devices daily. Everything in the room was functional. We faced an issue with the room cleaning schedule, which it didn't happen, so this was upsetting as we organized ourselves to be away the whole day, to realized when we were back that no service had been provided, even though we confirmed with reception before going out in the morning. There is no breakfast, so we used the room's kitchenette to prepare our meals. Different from majority of hotels that offer rooms with kitchenettes, this hotel chain does not provide any utensils (pans, plates, cutlery, etc), their option is having the most common items for sale in the lobby. Even though is located in a very hot AZ area, there is no pool, therefore, entertaining children is limited. Location is very nice with a lot of stores (retail and groceries), restaurants and medical services in a walk distance. Close to highways. The walk trail around the hotel is amazing for morning walks or bike rides, there are so much to see! Specially the fauna - roadrunners everywhere :-)

Nuce, simple Hotel. Room new and clean. The Kitchen does not anything in it. No silverware or anything. But Walmart is not far away. A lot of restaurants near by. All the people were very friendly. The only issue I had was the water pressure at the shower head. It was so low at anytime of the day that could not get the shampoo out of my hair. Had to kneel down and use to lower outlet instead. The lady at the front desk promised to inform the manager, but nothing happened. Cleaning apparently comes every fourth day, which is sufficient to me. I put the the sign out on day four, though. Towels can also be changed at the front desk.

Our first time staying at this hotel, and it was great! Beds are comfortable, rooms are clean, the staff was wonderful and accommodating to our family and the Kitchenette is a plus. Will definitely be coming back.

We were very satisfied with our room (handicapped accessibility is far beyond what we’ve ever experienced- lowered beds and counters, shower seat in bathroom) and met all cleanliness expectations. Restaurants/coffee shops within walking distance, safe area. The room above us apparently had small children who were allowed to run wild and the noise woke us, and kept us, up for an hour and a half. I made two complaints to the front desk and they contacted the room with no success in reducing the noise. If you are staying, I would suggest getting a fourth floor room to avoid excessive noise from above you.
